We're Going Green

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
The 6 Clarks find any reason to celebrate, and today is no exception. To some, today is not really a big deal, you just wear green and call it good...but here it's a pretty big deal. We love St. Patty's day! To kick it off, last night we had a very green dinner: Green pasta with green alfredo sauce, green salad with green ranch dressing, green jigglers, green breadsticks, green punch, and of course green cake for dessert.

This morning our little ones woke up to find a little leprechaun had left gold chocolate coins in their rooms and in their shoes.

For breakfast we ate green eggs. And of course, we're all wearing green. Will's birthday is tomorrow, but I really think he was supposed to be born a day earlier because his favorite color has always been green, and he loves those chocolate gold coins more than anything. Throughout the year whenever we go to a store/gas station, he searches for the chocolate gold coins. In fact, he loves going with me to Joanne's Craft store because he knows they always have those in the check-out aisle.

Today he has been setting little traps so he can catch a leprechaun, and he has been outside hunting for a clover in our nappy, soggy grass that is still somewhat covered with snow. The best was a few minutes ago he walked out of the bathroom and exclaimed, "Mom, my pee AND poo is green!" He was totally stoked! And THAT is what prompted this post. Hmm, maybe a little too much green food coloring?
