Shad's Bobsled Birthday!

Uncle Shad is always doing nice and generous things for our family so we wanted to plan something real fun and different for his birthday. What do you get a guy who pretty much has everything and has done everything?
A real bobsled ride down the Olympic track!

Shad is in the back
Made it down the track in 1 minute 5 seconds
He was totally surprised and way excited! It was so fun to watch him race down and we were all wishing we could do it too!

It was a gorgeous day so we hung-out at the Olympic park and watched the ski jumpers flip into the pools and then played at the park. So fun!

Then we went to Shad's favorite dinner spot in Park City - Loco Lizard!
Happy Birthday Uncle Shad! We love you lots!

Memorial Day

For Memorial day weekend, the boys went motorcycling while Q and I enjoyed some sunshine at Aunt Heid's house. Millie was still in California.

We pulled out the Slip-n-Slide!

Then I took Q on a date to the movies to see Disney's "Bears" movie. We loved it. Right up her alley.

On Sunday we took flowers to the graves and to reminisce about Grandmas and Grandpas

Millie's happy place

Miss Millie totally scored an invitation to go with cousins Kamryn and Jordan to stay in a beach house on Santa Monica beach! They were going to celebrate Jordan's 16th birthday!
She rode down to St. George with my friend Jill, met up with the Parkinson's, and they were on their way to California the next morning!

On the road
They were totally spoiled, staying in a fancy house right on the beach. Check it out:

They met up with Shelly and Jordan's friends from Arizona (Jennifer and Jodie Parkinson) because they were celebrating Jodie's birthday too. Millie and Kamryn mostly hung out on the beach with Shelly for 3 days. She was in absolute heaven!

A visit to the famous Sprinkles for some cupcakes! Yum!

When the fun was over, BS and I drove down to St. George to pick her up. We took Q with us. We enjoyed having our baby girl to ourselves and spent the day swimming at Parkinson's house while we waited for them to return.  Of course we had a little business to take care of with Aerie.

10 year old Giants

Will has found his love of baseball. If you ask him, he is going to play in the "MLB."
He is, afer all, named Will Clark - just like a baseball legend, #22 who played for the real Giants.
He is definitely on the right track. When he gets on a streak he can really "smack it out there!" as his Grandma Cindy says when she is cheering the boys on.  He also started as a pitcher and did a great job! It was really fun to watch him. Not only is he an awesome baseball player, he has an awesome coach! Once again Coach Sam stepped in and taught these boys some baseball. In the end they made it to the semi-finals and the season ended with a bummer last game, losing to an undefeated team.

Q's Spring Recital

Quincy did it again. She impressed us with the tumbling skills that she learned this year.
She does such a great job and she is so fun to watch! The recital was at the new Corner Canyon High School in Draper. G-ma and G-pa met us at The Training Table before to get some cheese fries for good luck :)  Way to go Quincy! Super awesome connected front walkovers!

Love her to pieces!
