Skate Date

These pics were taken a couple of months ago.  We went ice skating as a family and had a great time!

Quincy was so happy skating around with her little clutch, Sambo and Millie skated hundreds of laps around the rink, and Wilbur spent most of his night trying to figure it out.  It's not easy following a big brother (Sambo) who does almost everything with ease (athletically speaking).  It just comes so natural to him.  Just like being inquisitive comes so naturally to Wilbur :)

BS and I enjoyed skating around watching the kids skate together.  We are in the "perfect" stage of family life.  We have been for a couple of years.  No babies or toddlers or teenagers.

Well, Millie just barely turned 13 but she's not a roller coaster just yet.  Thank goodness.

The kids are so fun and easy to take places and do things with.  Like we actually all want to spend time together as a family a lot.  I love it.  I hope it stays this way, even though I know it won't.  And that's ok too.  I can remember how important social life is to teenagers.

Anyway, it was a feel good night.  And I am so grateful for those.
