Here they are at skate camp...every Friday in July. There is a really cool skate park in Draper where they and some friends learn some cool tricks on their boards. Mr. Spock was their very patient teacher. Neither one of them had been on a skateboard...we bought them the night before.
Of course, right away Sam just went for it and tried everything. In return he did very well! It kills me how coordinated and fearless he is.
Will, being my little thinker, analyzed it first before just going for it. I can just hear his brain saying, "But wait, if I go down that ramp on my board, I will probably fall and hurt my knees or wrists. I better start really slow and proceed very cautiously."
I love the way his mind works and how witty he is. By then end of week 4, he had it down and now loves to skate up and down our sidewalks.
They LOVED it and had a great experience! Keep it up dudes.
