Cold Stone

We're not talking ice cream. We're talking about what Quincy had tonight at Chuck-E-Cheese (we celebrated her birthday). She's been fighting a cold the last couple days and has a pretty bad cough so we gave her some medicine before we left home...
She spent the next 2 hours completely stoned. For the 1st time in her life, I could not get her to crack even the slightest grin. I couldn't even get her to make eye contact. She just stared...off into space. What 2 year old doesn't glee with excitement at her own party, filled with family, presents, cake, and Chuck E Cheese?
Oh well, I'll take stoned over sad or whiny. At least she didn't cry. We all had fun despite her melancholy.
Thanks "Grandpa Judy" for dinner and to all the fam for being there! We can't believe our baby is going to be 2 (on Thursday)! Hopefully she will be feeling better on her actual birthday.

Oh, and I did capture one quick grin at the end!

Poor girl! I can't believe she is 2 and I can't believe how long Millie's hair is!

oooh That is too bad. It is good that everyone else was able to have fun! That reminds me of when we celebrated Reagan's 4th Birthday at one of those jumpy inflateable places. She just would not play and kept complaining that she couldn't breath. We just brushed it off and later at the insta-care we found out she was having a full blown asthma attack. Yeah, take heart, at least you didn't do that.
