Oh. My. Gosh. The CUTEST 4-year old to ever step on stage:
Quincy had her first ever dance recital! She started dance class in February and has loved every minute of it. She went on stage with all the confidence in the world, not scared at all. I'm sure she thinks it's just part of life from watching her big sis dance on stage. But she not only dances...she sings too! I chose her dance studio because they teach kids to sing while they dance. And she is quite the singer. You should see her in Primary and at pre-school. The loudest for sure. She had our whole family singing the song she danced to at home and in the car. It was a medley from an oldies song "Shake". "Come on over baby there's a whole lotta shakin going on..." Watching her dance was the best. I LOVE these moments.
A fond memory we have is that in the last few minutes of every dance class, they did the princess dance. They got to put on a crown and hold a long piece of fancy fabric to wave in the air. They always danced to the song from Mulan - "Reflection." Without fail, at some point in the song her awesome teacher would say "Dance with your heart" or "Do what your heart tells you" and those little girls danced like they KNEW they were real dancing princesses. So dang cute. She made lots of dancing friends.
Thanks to everyone who came to watch her! She is going to try tumbling this summer but I'm sure she will be back to dancing in the Fall. We love you Quinny and are so proud of your star performance!!!
