Millie @ Alpine and Highland Parades

The beginning of August, Millie had fun participating in both the Highland and Alpine parades.  Since she is both 8th Grade president and a cheerleader, and she couldn't be both at the same time, she went as a cheerleader in the first parade, and with student council in the next.  It was hot but who cares when you are having fun with your friends!?

For student council they rode scooters and threw candy.  They also wore capes for their school theme this year: "Be a super hero"

Moto Madness

It started with Samb's birthday present...a dirt bike.
Then 2 months later Will got a dirt bike for his birthday.
And then of course BS needed one too so he could go riding with them.
Since then these guys have been LOVING their motorcycle adventures in the mountains, sand dunes, and trails right by our house.  They have been to 5 mild pass, the Knolls, AF Canyon, and the cabin to name a few.  I'm so glad they have something they can do together.  I hope this is the beginning of many memories made together!  I love my boys.  BE SAFE!

Shad and Nate came too

Cousin Cole had a spendover at our house and couldn't get enough motorcycle rides!

The Mustache Family

Sheesh!  It's been like 6 weeks since I posted.  Life is bonkers!
Anyway, back in July we went to Huntsville for the Guffey family Reunion.  Part of the fun was getting our own mustaches painted on and a photo booth {because for some reason, mustaches are really cool right now}. We also swam, ate lunch, mingled with relatives, and watched an awesome slide show of the Guffey Grandpa brothers from when they were little.  It was a fun time for all!

The Knolls Sand Dunes

Uncles Shad and Nate planned an outing with the boys to the Knolls.  Shad decided that they were ready for this kind of riding.  They absolutely LOVED it and rode their little guts out.

Sambo and Wilbur
Will needs a bigger bike!

Will checking out a deserted car in the dessert...you know in case their are valuables left in it
BS taking a nap while the boys rode around for hours

That night we all met up with them for dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory to celebrate Nate's birthday.  This is what Sambo was doing pretty much the whole time.  He was wiped out from riding so hard.  He couldn't get enough!

FaLL BReaK in ST. GeoRGe!

Another Fall break, another trip to St. George!
Due to this last minute decision and late planning, we stayed a couple of nights at our usual hotel, a night at the condo, and a night with Uncle Denny and Marcia :)  It was great to spend some time with them and catch up.  Their hospitality is over the top!  Thank you!  It was a bummer that Parkinson's were out of town so we didn't get to visit them.
We swam a ton, including a trip to Sand Hollow Rec Center while it poured rain outside.
We met up with our friends the Sunderlages a day and had a lot of fun hanging out and hiking the red rock playground.  While the girls relaxed and went to the art festival, the boys went dirt biking.  On Sunday we took the kids to the Jacob Hamblin home and learned about his family and farm.  And we always go to Judd's and the splash park.  And of course, a few stops at Swig for Mango Mountain Dews, Dirty Dr. Peppers, and sugar cookies!  Fabulous trip!
