Halloween Part 2:

We started out the big day with Ghostly Pancakes

Our Jack 0' Lanterns!  We didn't spend a ton of time on them this year but it was as enjoyable just the same!

The fabulous school Costume Parade:

Between school and Trick or Treating, our {fantasic!} new neighborhood held an annual Halloween get together at the local park.  Everyone pitches in and it is a grand event!  We have soups, salads, hot dogs, desserts, hot chocolate, and mingling before heading out for the night.  We love our new neighborhood so much!

This was the first year that we haven't stayed together to go Trick or Treating.  Millie had made plans to go with a group of her friends,  Sambo started out with BS but soon was running ahead with his friends, and Will invited a handful of his friends to go with him.  So it ended up being BS and Quincy and sometimes Will, Sambo, and their posse. 

 I didn't even manage to get a picture of the 4 of them together on our porch like I do every year.

I stayed home to give out candy but I was wishing I was out Trick -or-Treating because it was the warmest, most beautiful Halloween night that I can remember ever.  But soon my Quincy was home and I had a great time watching her hand out candy to our many visitors.  She would always wish everyone a "Happy Halloween" in the cutest voice :)
