Memorial Day

For Memorial day weekend, the boys went motorcycling while Q and I enjoyed some sunshine at Aunt Heid's house. Millie was still in California.

We pulled out the Slip-n-Slide!

Then I took Q on a date to the movies to see Disney's "Bears" movie. We loved it. Right up her alley.

On Sunday we took flowers to the graves and to reminisce about Grandmas and Grandpas

Will's Wheels

The boys (including BS) were very anxious to get back out and go dirt biking, especially since Will got a new motorcycle - so they went South to Cherry Creek at Jericho.
They invited Uncle Shad & Nate, and Trevin to come and they had a great time!
They came home so giddy and excited for the next ride.

Nitro Circus

For Christmas Uncle Shad gave the guys in our family tickets to NITRO CIRCUS!
I sure wish I could have gone, I was totally jealous!
The boys said it was amazing and "so freaking awesome!"

Thanks Shad!

Deer Hunt {easy style}

Another deer hunt success!  This year was extra good because the boys had their motorcycles to ride up and down the trail.  Well, not quite the whole way.  At one point the trail gets too rigid and rocky for dirt bikes.  But it cut the hiking time by more than half . They needed an easier route because
once again the boy's football play-off games were the same weekend.  BS took Sambo and Will up Friday morning, came down for the games Saturday, then back up to the campsite, then back down Sunday afternoon.  The boys were grinning from ear to ear!  Football mixed with motorcycling mixed with guys only camping mixed with hunting and shooting?  Priceless!!

Will was obsessed with getting some flint and stone!
And he successfully started a fire with it {after 20 min}

No buck this year.  Darn {yeah right}.  The deer hunt has turned into more of a mancation than an actual hunt.  If a HUGE buck happens to walk into camp then someone might claim it.  But they do a lot of target shooting and the boys are hoping and asking for a 22 rifle of their own.
I love that I don't have to worry for a second about my little guys.  I have complete trust in BS that he will keep them safe and taken good care of.
I'm so glad that these 3 have each other:

The Clark girls kept the tradition of driving up to the trailhead to greet our boys back on Sunday after church. We are always so happy to see them, but mostly do it so the kids can ride the horses.
I LOVE these pictures.  Quincy is in absolute HEAVEN!

More Moto!

More dirt biking adventures in the Uintas and at Strawberry!
Here is Will:

Here is Sambo:

Quincy got to go this time and she really is just one of the boys.  She is tough as nails and not afraid to get dirty!  And not one whine or complaint comes out of her mouth all day long.

After days like this the boys come home completely pooped.  They ride their little guts out!
And this is how I often find them in the morning:

No wonder they want their own room or at least their own beds!

Moto Madness

It started with Samb's birthday present...a dirt bike.
Then 2 months later Will got a dirt bike for his birthday.
And then of course BS needed one too so he could go riding with them.
Since then these guys have been LOVING their motorcycle adventures in the mountains, sand dunes, and trails right by our house.  They have been to 5 mild pass, the Knolls, AF Canyon, and the cabin to name a few.  I'm so glad they have something they can do together.  I hope this is the beginning of many memories made together!  I love my boys.  BE SAFE!

Chalk Creek Canyon
Shad and Nate came too
Here they are at 5 mild pass with Seth and Rick Sunderlage
Pit stop at the winter ranger station
Cousin Cole had a spendover at our house and couldn't get enough motorcycle rides!

The Knolls Sand Dunes

Uncles Shad and Nate planned an outing with the boys to the Knolls.  Shad decided that they were ready for this kind of riding.  They absolutely LOVED it and rode their little guts out.

Sambo and Wilbur
Will needs a bigger bike!

Will checking out a deserted car in the dessert...you know in case their are valuables left in it
BS taking a nap while the boys rode around for hours

That night we all met up with them for dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory to celebrate Nate's birthday.  This is what Sambo was doing pretty much the whole time.  He was wiped out from riding so hard.  He couldn't get enough!
