Here are some photos of Millie {Amilia} and her darling dance company from The Pointe Academy. She has had a way awesome year at this studio and has learned so much. I can't believe how much her technique has improved and how quickly she has learned new dance styles. She learned about 10 new dances this year which included jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, modern, and tap. She competed 4 of them and performed 6 of them. She also learned about team unity and commitment. She made really good friends and these girls could not be cuter! She dedicated 9 hours/week (split into 3 days) to dance. Even when she would get invited to do other things or play with friends, she would never complain about not being able to because of dance. One of our favorite things about watching her dance is her sense of showmanship - it is so fun to watch her expression, personality, and smiles when she performs. She is beautiful and really shines on stage! We are so proud of her efforts, commitment, and achievements!

Sooo much has been going on this past month - I'm trying to get caught up. Right now I'm writing these posts from Island Park and it is so nice to get some rest and relaxation!

You're right...Millie has wonderful musicality. She is a joy to watch on stage. Darling little performer. I hope she keeps dancing.
